Overview
See What Grows is a guide and workbook for Philadelphia gardeners to share knowledge and track their horticultural skills. The idea for this book arose from Carling’s observation that while some gardening skills can be researched, others are best learned through experience and conversation with others. Featuring interviews with four Philadelphia gardening experts from a diverse range of backgrounds, See What Grows presents a highly subjective, localized, and human approach to cultivating plants. The book also includes a log and calendar, along with a set of stickers to record garden care routines, succession planting, and end-of-season reflections.
